Since November 2005 George post-graduate student in Russian Academy of Science in Cemi. Cemi is the top science institute in Russian in math methods in Economics and in evaluation of intellectual capital. One of Cemi's founder (Mr. Kontorovich) was nominated as the Nobel Prize laureate.
Right now George is working on 7 different science directions:
- Influence of transaction costs on goodwill and intellectual property.
- Brand valuation of Russian banks.
In this research my basic reference sources are reports of Brand Finance and Interbrand company.
- Developing methods for evaluation of closed joint stock companies (private companies).
In current research I use formulas of Aswath Damodaran and his presentation where he describes methods for evaluation using beta.
- Developing methods for evaluation of special rights that can be passed under franchising agreement.
- Evaluation of patents and influence on intellectual capital value using Zvi Griliches methods.
Current research is made under government contract.
- Evaluation using real options (for brands and other intangible assets).
- Economic expectations and it's connection with goodwill.
In this research I use basic theorem of Miller-Modilyane.

This project is one of the most challenging where George took place. The main purpose of this project is to standardize process for commercialization results of R&D. There are different ways of using it. CIAN is an organizer of this project.

- GRID
GRID computing is a new coil in the internet technologies. CEMI made research in world GRID tendencies and made a proposal for Moscow government to develop GRID-computing and organize virtual science parks. Kozyrev A.N. (my scientific advisor) takes a lead of different directions to develop GRID technologies in Russia.
